Yes. Every new account starts on the free trial: 50 documents in total, 30 questions a month and up to 3 people, no card required. That is enough to try it on a real batch of your own documents and watch it work. When you reach a limit, new uploads and questions pause until you choose a plan — nothing you have uploaded is deleted, and your documents, folders and answers are all still there when you do.
Each file processed in a month counts once, regardless of length. Re-reading a document you've already processed doesn't count again.
Any time. Upgrade or downgrade as your volume changes — the new limits apply from your next billing cycle.
Uploads pause when you reach your plan's monthly document allowance and resume at the start of the next month. Nothing already uploaded is lost or changed, and everything you have processed stays searchable. If you need more sooner, upgrade from the Billing page, which also shows how much of this month's allowance you have used. On the free trial the allowance is 50 documents in total rather than per month.
