ROADMAP

Where Torvane is going.

What Torvane does today, what we are building next, and what is planned for later. There are no dates: an item moves to Today only when it is live and tested, and until then it is not something you can use.

Today — live now

Everything in this list works on torvane.ai today.

  • Reads the documents you upload in the browser, or that arrive as attachments in a business mailbox you connect — PDFs, Word files, scans and phone photos (scanned pages are read with OCR).
  • Works out what each document is and who it is from, names it and files it.
  • Finds payment, expiry, renewal and notice dates, each with the sentence it came from; a notice date worked out from a renewal date shows both sentences. Reminds you before each one.
  • Holds a re-issued invoice with the same number as one already on file (a possible double payment), and a file that contains several invoices.
  • Answers questions in plain English, naming the documents it used.
  • Learns narrow filing rules from your corrections — a supplier plus the type it read — each tested on the documents already on file before it is used. A rule a manager or employee asks for always waits for an admin to confirm it, and any rule that would change other documents is held for an admin.
  • Drafts the emails and letters that go with a document — a payment reminder, a reply, a renewal confirmation, a notice, a request for missing information — from the facts on file, for you to check and send. Torvane never sends anything.
  • If your admin turns learning on: learns your own drafting preferences, only after you say yes, each visible and switchable off. Learning is off unless your admin turns it on.
  • Asks when unsure: a document with thin evidence waits for a person.
  • Works out an end date from a printed term ("three years commencing 1 October 2026"), showing the wording it counted from.
  • Asks when a contract, lease or policy doesn't state an end date, renewal, notice period or payment terms, and keeps your answer with the document as evidence; a date you give becomes a tracked deadline.
  • Records every action in an audit log you can export.
  • Isolates each organisation's data in the database itself, under a database role that cannot bypass it.

Next — in development

Next in line, roughly in this order. None of these is available today.

  • Supplier and customer records: one page per company you deal with, gathering its documents, dates and history.
  • Obligations with amounts: what you owe and are owed, and when, taken from invoices and contracts.
  • An Inbox that works as a decision queue: each item says what happened, why it matters, what Torvane found and what it needs from you.
  • A daily briefing in the app.
  • Contract understanding: renewal packs, what changed between two versions of a contract, and a summary of the changed terms.
  • Learning from more of what you do: your approvals, the processes you repeat and your preferences — each one visible and reversible.

Later — planned

Planned, not started. We list them so you can see the direction, not as a promise of when.

  • A company page: what Torvane knows about how your company works, in one place you can check and correct.
  • An activity feed: what Torvane did, and why, as it happens.
  • Ready for you: work Torvane has prepared from what it already knows, waiting for your go-ahead.
  • Handle this: hand Torvane an item and it prepares the next step, with the evidence, for you to approve.
  • Negotiation briefs: the proposed change, your current terms, the invoice history and a suggested position. Torvane prepares; it never makes an offer, accepts terms or concedes.
  • Writing in your style: per person and opt-in, learned from your edits to its drafts, shown in plain words, and editable, switchable off and deletable. It learns how you write, never a profile of who you are.
  • Contract drafts from your own templates, always labelled as a draft for human or legal review. Torvane does not give legal advice.
  • Email understanding: reading the text of emails, not only their attachments.
  • Drafting replies for you to review.
  • Sending, only with your approval.
  • Missions: multi-step jobs, such as preparing everything for an insurance renewal.
  • Watching a supplier, a contract or a threshold and telling you when something changes.
  • Settings for which low-risk, reversible steps may run without asking.

How does something move to Today?

Only when it is live on torvane.ai and tested. Until then it stays in Next or Later, and it is not described anywhere else on this site as available.

Anything that would spend money, make a commitment or delete something will always need a person's approval. See the Trust Center for how Torvane handles your data today.
