Asking questions of your documents means typing a question in plain English and getting an answer drawn only from your own files, with a reference to the document and page. Torvane answers from documents you are allowed to see, and says so when it cannot find an answer.

What kind of questions work?

Questions whose answer is written in your documents: dates, amounts, parties, terms, reference numbers. 'When can we give notice on the lease?' works; 'should we renew?' is a decision for you.

Where does the answer come from?

Only from excerpts of your own documents that the search found, and each answer lists the documents it used. It cannot cite a document you cannot see.

Is there a limit?

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of questions; the free trial includes 30.
